To avoid chaffing, swimwear that creates a barrier between the strap and skin is recommended.
Correct Fit: Strap to be fastened between the legs, low and not too tight. The body of the vest should fit snuggly around the childâ€™s torso, creating a secure fit.
The strap is a precaution to prevent the vest riding up when in the water due to its buoyancy, but should not be adjusted to be too tight.
